The Monetary System

The currency in Lalenth is the Leaf. As metallic resources are short this is printed onto linen. The leaf is divided as follows:

1 gold leaf – 12 silver leaves
1 silver leaf – 12 copper leaves
1 gold leaf – 144 copper leaves

One ounce of lalenthrium ore costs around two gold leaves. One ounce of purified lalenthrium metal costs around five gold leaves.
